Lynne trained as a primary school teacher in Melbourne, where she taught for ten years as a music specialist in government primary schools and spent many years learning piano, musicianship and singing. On moving to Canberra, she worked as a music specialist at Canberra Girls’ Grammar Junior School, had children, then taught overseas as an Early Years music specialist in an international school in Bangkok. When Lynne and her family returned to Canberra, she set up her FunMusic for Little Kids business. In addition to running FunMusic classes, she has also taught music to the children of Charnwood-Dunlop School and Pre-School, tutored in music education at Canberra University, and conducted the Woden Valley Junior Choir. She is passionate about raising the profile of music education, believing that every child should be given access to a high quality sequential music program from a young age. Lynne is married to Michael, the best husband in the world, and their three children keep them very busy!
